Trajnostna šola kot prizorišče za okoljsko vzgojo

POVZETEK
Trajnostne šole so energijsko učinkovite, okolju prijazne stavbe, ki zagotavljajo zdravo bivalno okolje in vzpodbujajo okoljsko vzgojo. Referenčni primeri iz tujine prikazujejo značilnosti trajnostnih šol kot odraz arhitekturne zasnove, ki temelji na principih ekološkega koncipiranja, krožne gradnje in povezovanju učnih okolij z naravo, športnimi aktivnostmi in gibanjem. V članku smo želeli raziskati ali učitelji prepoznavajo trajnostne značilnosti šol, v katerih poučujejo, in v kolikšni meri jih vključujejo v učne vsebine. Za ta namen smo izvedli kratko anketo na nekaterih slovenskih osnovnih šolah, ki je pokazala, da učitelji večinoma niso seznanjeni s trajnostnimi značilnostmi šol in jih ne vključujejo v učne procese. Ugotovitve študije lahko služijo kot priporočila za uvajanje načel trajnostne šole v pedagoško in arhitekturno stroko.
